That’s genuinely surprising. Literally half of the Wranglers I see on a dialy basis have one of these angry grills with the requisite annoyingly bright LED headlights. And I see quite a few Jeeps every day.

Although that may just be more due to the fact that I work on a military installation. Where the general demographic mainly consists of younger guys with a decent amount of disposable income who are constantly trying to put on a “tough guy” facade.

That’s likely it. I’ve lived near bases before and it definitely skews the sample. When I had a VW in the 90s multiple people asked me if I was from an Air Force family. Because almost nobody else drove VWs back then...

Pictured is the official Cherokee Chief concept from a few years ago. It’s JK based and absolutely awesome. The angry-eyes Jeeps don’t look nearly this badass.

Yeah I think it’s stupid but it’s not just a joop thing. I see angry eyes on Toyota trucks a lot too. And Mazdas too and.. Well lots of things. It’s just their way of expressing a misunderstanding of how money and time should be spent
